# Madeira weather: choose a region for your day

Compare the places you might visit before choosing your outing. One forecast for Funchal cannot tell you what to expect at a mountain viewpoint.

## Compare the same day

Open the weather comparison and select your day. Compare Funchal, Ponta do Sol, Porto Moniz, Caniçal and Pico do Areeiro. These are five forecast points, not a forecast for every place on the island.

## Read the detail that matters

Look at the forecast hour, wind and rainfall as well as temperature. A recent station reading describes an observation; it is not a prediction for your arrival. Missing data means the conditions are unknown.

## Keep another kind of outing

Pair an exposed viewpoint with a town or indoor idea. Check IPMA warnings and access before travelling. A different region is not automatically safe or sunny.

Planning advice, not a live conditions report. These pages do not automatically refresh facts. Check current information before leaving. Your chosen language continues in the interactive guide.
